Nothing is good enough when it comes to the safety of our children. At Moonboon we go an extra mile compzred to the rest of the market to ensure our products are a safe as possible. As a company, we have been GOTS-certified and all of our Baby Hammock and Cradles are GOTS-certified. The Twin Baby Hammock and Baby Hammock have been tested to adhere to the highest European safety standard EN 1130:2019.
Maintenance:
The Twin Baby Hammock can be washed by hand or in the washing machine at 40 degrees.
Avoid any chemical cleaning. Do not use bleach or dry in the tumble dryer.
The kapok mattress cannot be washed – instead, you air it out outside once a month or more frequently, depending on how warm your child is. Keep the kapok mattress as dry as possible. If your child sweats a lot the mattress should be aired out more frequently.

Moonboon’s springs are specially designed for our products and match the child’s weight to achieve the right level of gentle rocking alongside the highest safety. The spring included with the baby hammock supports children weighing between 3-10 kg.

Do not use bleach or dry in the tumble dryer. We recommend that you do not wash your kapok mattress, but rather shake it regularly or hang it outdoors to aerate where possible.

1. Installation:
Ensure you set-up the baby hammock securely and safely in accordance with the user manual.
2. Environment:
Prepare a calm and quiet area of your home for the baby hammock to be used in – this will help deliver a great sleeping environment. Try placing a familiar item such as a muslin cloth or stuffed toy in the baby hammock for a few days before you introduce it to your baby. This familiar smell will help baby adapt to their new sleeping surrounds.
3. Start slow:
Rocking should be introduced gently and slowly – either manually or with our Moonboon Motor. You can gradually increase the tempo and duration of rocking as your baby gets used to it. You’ll soon learn what works for you.
Every baby is different, and some may take longer than others to adapt to the baby hammock. Be patient, observe their cues, and make adjustments accordingly.

First off, we recommend the hammock stiffener, which will extend and slightly flatten the lying base of the hammocks and give your babies more space, extending the time you can use the hammock for. We also always recommend a waterproof mattress protector, because little accidents can always happen and it’s nice to know that no matter what your baby hammock won’t be ruined. Both of these can nicely be paired with our sheets for the baby hammock to round off the look inside your babies’ sleep spaces.
We also love to recommend adding the heaven canopy to your twin baby hammock to reduce ambient light and minimize sleep disturbances, as well as an added layer of safety with the Mattress Fixi that keeps your little ones lying snug and centered on their mattresses.
Finally, we advise you to choose your preferred method of mounting, where we recommend our sleek ceiling mounting kit or our portable door frame clamp.

You never compromise on your baby’s safety, and we don’t either! Therefore we have created an overview of important things to keep in mind when shopping baby sleep products, so that you and your baby can sleep soundly.
The speaker can help everyone. White noise can be an excellent tool if your child tends to fall asleep at noisy times in addition to their normal nap or night-time sleep. Babies are used to being surrounded by noise, so a completely quiet environment can have the opposite effect of what you expect at bedtime.
No. Children, and parents for that matter, don't outgrow white noise. White noise continues to be helpful for children as well as adults. Many continue to use white noise for their children (and themselves) to support sleep long after the baby is a newborn.
As with any routine, you should replace white noise with something else if you want to stop using it. Or gradually phase out its use. Weaning the child from white noise is quite simple. Simply turn the sound down gradually over a week or two until it's switched off completely.
The main advantage of white noise is that it can block out other sounds, but it can also be soothing for children and parents when they are trying to fall asleep. Because white noise can be heard at all frequencies, it can block out sudden sounds like a snoring dog or a noisy car on the street.
